Kids Club provides a high quality care program in an environment that is safe, nurturing and FUN! Our goal is to provide a warm and caring environment for the children with a variety of activities to enrich each child's education.

Who: Students in Kindergarten - Grade 5

When: Before and/or after school, two to five days per week

Where: Lakeside, Primary School, and Taylors Falls Elementary

Flexible Scheduling: Full-time and part-time options are available.

Tuition fees for SY 2025-2026:

Consistent Schedule: Before School - $12/day, After School - $12/day
Pick Your Day Schedule: Before School - $16/day, After School - $16/day

Registration opened for the 2025-2026 school year on March 3rd at 8:00am.

Once you complete the online application you will be put on a “pending approval status” until Community Education staff have reviewed your account. Your credit card will not be charged until your child is confirmed in the program. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged. For a registration to be processed, all Kids Club program balances must be paid in full. Accounts with a balance overdue will not be processed.

Note: We did have to start Wait Lists during the 2025-26 year. Please do not wait to register if you would like a spot in our program.

Billing Information

Invoice Schedule and Details:

Invoices are due on the first business day of each month for that month of care

Changes to your contract must be made 2 weeks prior and are subject to a Schedule Change Fee of $15.
If payments are not received in the Kids Club business office by the scheduled due date, your account will be considered past due and a Late Payment Fee will be assessed. Late payments may result in termination of childcare services. Accounts must be current for registration to be accepted for the next season.

Simplify your account and avoid late fees by setting up auto-pay. Log into your account at isd2144.ce.eleyo.com, click on your child's child care account and select "Manage Account".

Additional Billing Information

A $35 non-refundable registration fee is required per family at the time of registration.
All Kids Club fees are paid in advance of care. Fees are due on the first business day of the month for that month of care.
Failure to pay fees will result in termination of care.
There is no reduction in fees for delays or closures due to emergencies, inclement weather or suspension status. This applies to school days, non-school days, and summer Kids Club.
Contract changes must be submitted at least 14 days in advance. A $15 Schedule Change Fee will be charged for each contract change.
Lack of attendance is not an acceptable notice and fees will continue to be assessed until a change is submitted.
Children dropped off or picked-up outside of our established times will be assessed early/late arrival fees.
- The first 5 minutes are a $5 flat fee. Every minute thereafter is an additional $1 per minute.
- Fees will be added to your account.

Late Start/Early Release/School Cancellation

Late Starts/Early Closings/School Cancellation

If Chisago Lakes Schools cancels school, and/or closes its buildings, because of adverse weather, or any other reason, Kids Club will also be closed for the day.
If Chisago Lakes Schools has a late-start because of adverse weather, Kids Club will also open 2 hours late at 8:00am.
If Chisago Lakes Schools releases early because of adverse weather, Kids Club will close 1 hour after dismissal.

Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures

Arrival and Departure

A parent or other adult must accompany the child to and from their Kids Club site each day. Child will be signed in and out on the daily attendance iPad to ensure the child safely arrives and leaves our program.

Kids Club will open each morning at 6:00am. Under no circumstances are children to be dropped off before 6:00am, even if you see a staff member is present. The opening staff does arrive a few minutes early to prepare the site to provide safe and uninterrupted care at 6:00am.

If your child will not be attending on a contracted day, please call your site to notify staff. You may leave a message 24 hours a day. Kids Club is not responsible to notify your child's elementary school of his/her absence. The elementary schools do not notify Kids Club of absences either.

Only authorized persons are allowed to pick up children. Upon registration, parents will be asked to list the names of persons authorized to pick up the child. If anyone other than an authorized person will be picking up the child, staff must be notified in advance. Please call and supply us with the name of the person, a telephone number where they can be reached, and a brief description. This person should provide us with a picture ID upon request. Since children will not be released to an unauthorized person, it is important to keep staff up to date about who is authorized to pick up your child.

If you are going to be away from your place of work, be sure to leave a phone number where you can be reached if we must reach you for an emergency.

Note: Copies of legal documents must be provided to the site manager before any staff person can actively prevent a child from being picked up by a non-custodial parent.

Late Pick-up Procedures

Parents must call your site if you will be late in picking up your child. If a child is not picked up by closing time, staff will remain with the child.

By 15 minutes late, call the home and work numbers of the parent as listed on the contract.
By 20 minutes late, call other emergency numbers listed if there is no answer at either number. If no emergency numbers are listed or are incorrect, the police will be notified.
By 60 minutes late, staff has been directed to call police in all circumstances at 60 minutes late.

Absence Notification

Parents must call Kids Club when a child will not be returning after school to Kids Club on a regularly contracted day. If the staff is expecting the child and she/he is not there, they are instructed to implement the following procedures: School will be asked for information regarding the missing child.

Within a reasonable length of time of taking attendance and asking the child's school, parents will be called (home and work numbers), if no answer: Parents will be called a second time and/or emergency numbers will be called.

Finders Fee: A $5 fee may be assessed when staff have not been notified of a child’s absence. Absences should be reported 30 minutes before the expected arrival of the child. The fee will be added to your next month’s billing charges.
